Absolutely. But you need to want it to work. The best evidence comes from Aaron’s clients, whom he’s treated for over 20 years. Aaron is a registered hypnotherapist at his award-winning City Hypnosis clinic in London. Discover how he’s helped clients here.

Clients who get the best out of hypnosis are open-minded. They’re ready to trust the life-changing process. Even if you’re sceptical, give it a go.

Many people seek hypnosis for phobias, anxieties and addictions. They use it to beat harmful behaviour patterns. But there’s so much more that hypnosis can help you with. Look at the range of programs on the Subconsciously app. You’ll see that you can lose weight, break bad habits, learn to love yourself and manifest the life you want. You can find confidence and more. You can do all this using the power of hypnosis.

For many people, hypnosis means lasting change. In some cases, it’s permanent. This is because hypnosis resets the brain. Think of it as opening a door previously closed to you. Once the door is open and you walk through, you can stay in that new place for as long as you like. Sometimes, life comes at you fast and triggers a return to old issues, but hypnosis can always get you back onto the better path you chose.

For some issues (e.g. stopping smoking), you might only need one session to kick the habit. Other habits may be more engrained, and repeated sessions may be needed to get your mind where you want it to be. People are different. On average, 4 sessions are often enough to bring significant change. From there, we recommend topping up as and when you feel you need it.

The app can be equally as effective. Aaron recorded the audio hypnosis programs using high-definition and precision sound. It captures the nuances, tones and rhythms of Aaron’s well-practised hypnosis technique: the Surtees Method.

Listen to Subconsciously with noise-cancelling headphones. Be in a quiet, dimly lit and private space. You can then recreate Aaron’s treatment room’s ambience.

The main differences between in-app and in-person sessions:

  1. You can pause and rewind on the app if you need to.
  2. The app gives you access to many programs based on your subscription level. In-person sessions focus on one specific issue for each treatment.
  3. The price. The app has different packages. All subscriptions are much cheaper than in-person treatment.
  4. You can use the app pretty much anywhere, apart from while driving or operating machinery.

The app perfectly suits the needs of busy people. They may not stop rushing with work, family, and leisure until the evening. By then, booking an in-person hypnotherapy session is too late. The Subconsciously app is in their pocket and available at the touch of a button, night or day.

If you have questions about both types of hypnotherapy, contact us via our contact page.

You may have noticed ambient noise when listening to a session. These are relaxing noises, such as the watery sounds of a river flowing. They play gently in the background to lull you into hypnosis.

Yet, the sessions may work better for you with just Aaron’s voice. In that case, you can turn off the background noises. Simply tap on the ‘Ambient Music On’ text to switch it off.

You’ll also notice an introduction to each session. This is part of the hypnosis process. Aaron’s voice and words take you away from the conscious world and lead you into your suggestible subconscious.

The introduction is essential. Although you’ve heard it before, we recommend listening to the full sessions every time to get the most from your Subconsciously session.

You can book a call with Subconsciously’s creator and founder, Aaron Surtees, at any time that suits you. Remember, there’s no such thing as a stupid question, so don’t be shy.

Here’s how to book a call through the phone app.

First, click on the heart icon at the bottom of the app.

This opens the ‘Meet My Therapist’ page.

Now click on ‘Book a Call with Aaron’.

This will prompt you to ‘share.’

Select the email app you want to use, such as Gmail or Outlook.

This will open your email account. It will prepare an email for you with the address info@subconsciously.com. The subject will be ‘Meet Your Therapist Request’.

Just type a short email with your contact details. Aaron will respond and arrange a good time for your call.

Every Subconsciously user is a unique person with individual personalities, lifestyles, and responsibilities. We won’t tell you when to listen to a session. You can listen at any time, and we can suggest times that work well.

For example, just before bedtime is ideal. This puts you in the headspace where your subconscious is most open to suggestion.

You will, hopefully, fall asleep after the session. This means you’re likely to store the messages you’ve heard. You’ll subconsciously access them upon waking.

If you have more free time in the mornings than in the evenings, use that time to listen to Subconsciously. It will set you up nicely for the day.

Ultimately, the key to success at any time is dedicating your time to yourself and your hypnosis. Try to avoid grabbing a quick listen between tasks or chores. Only do it if you feel overwhelmed and need immediate help. Set aside time in the day for you. Have no distractions, and sink into your session.

Try to listen daily for the first week. Alternatively, if listening every other day works better for you, try that for two weeks. After that initial 1–2 week period, you can reduce listening to once a week. Over time, keep listening at least twice per month for a year. Or until you feel that Subconsciously has worked its magic.

We advise listening to a session many times. This will help you ingrain the changes you desire in your mind. At Subconsciously, we recognise that everybody is different and don’t give hard and fast rules. But we have found that being regular and consistent gets the best result.

N.B. We also suggest focusing on just one session exclusively for at least the first week or a few sessions related to your issue. Deal with one issue at a time. Trying to solve many problems simultaneously may seem time-effective, but your mind is complex. Don’t overload it. Be kind to yourself.

  1. Tap on the session you want to download.
  2. Tap on the download arrow symbol in the top right corner.
  3. You’ll get a message telling you the download is in progress.
  4. Once it’s finished, you can find it in your downloaded sessions. Click ‘My Profile’ at the bottom right of your screen.

Try a free trial followed by a monthly or yearly subscription. The yearly subscription is better value for money. A more immersive approach has long-term benefits, especially if your issues are deep or long-standing.

This is because of the messages you absorb during your hypnosis. They cause triggered neural activity that adds up and leads to better results. You’ll see them in your daily life and routines.

The people who benefit most from hypnotherapy are those who go beyond the first attempt. They opt for regular sessions.
You can’t always undo months, years or a lifetime of fears, stresses or bad habits in a few sessions.

Through Subconsciously, regular hypnotherapy is accessible with a few simple taps. Whenever you need the reassurance it provides, you can get it.
