Q. Does hypnosis really work?
Absolutely! While we can’t guarantee it will work for 100% of people, the best evidence comes from the clients that Aaron has treated himself over the course of 20 years as a registered practising hypnotherapist at his award-winning City Hypnosis clinic. Q. Will it work for me?
In some ways that depends on you and your openness to changing your life and habits. If you approach hypnosis cynically, negatively or with doubts about its effectiveness then you won’t obtain the best results. On the other hand, clients who embrace sessions open-minded, ready to change, and totally relaxed and trusting in the process, say that what they’ve gained from hypnosis is a life-changing experience unlike any form of therapeutic process they’ve ever had.
Q. What if I’m resistant or sceptical?
The best advice we can give is, let it go! Resistance or scepticism about anything in life has rarely paid off, right? What have you got to lose? You’ve tried
Q. What kind of issues can hypnosis help me with?
A lot of people seek hypnosis for phobias, anxieties, addictions and to overcome repeated, negative patterns of behaviour that have impacted their lives and the people around them. But there’s so much more that hypnosis can help you with. Take a look at the range of programmes on the Subconsciously app and you’ll see that you can achieve weight loss, deal with anger management, conquer jealousy, learn self-love, find your missing confidence and much more, all through the power of the suggestible mind.
Q. How long do the results last?
For many people, a course of hypnosis will embed in their minds lasting, and in some cases permanent change. This is because hypnosis resets the brain. Think of it as unlocking a door that was closed to you. Once the door is open and you walk through, you can stay in that new place, that new you, for as long as you like. If, as in some cases, life comes at you fast and things trigger a return to previous issues, hypnosis can always get you back onto the healthier path you chose.
Q. How many sessions will I need?
For some issues (for example stopping smoking) you might only need one session to kick the habit. Other habits may be more engrained, and will require some repeated sessions to get your mind where you want it to be. Everybody is different, but on average 5-6 sessions are often enough to bring about significant change. From there, we tend to recommend ‘topping up’ as and when you feel you need it.
